Come discover the Dragon trees of Ajgal Imzi

The young villager Lahoucine (*surnom)-nicknamed Draco- loves to share his knowledge of these ancient lands, its inhabitants and customs but above all its plants and wildlife.

Lahoucine is a trained and certified mountain guide and founding member of the Association Ajgal, who’s aim it is to protect these lands, predominantly its nature and wildlife, and for sure the few Draecena Ajgal left on this planet

Lahoucine can advise you what to bring, organise a 4×4, or local transport from Anzi onwards, with drivers that know the terrain.

Alos he can accompany you on walks in the surrounding mountains, wlak you to wild dragontrees hanging on to cliffs for approx tow or three hours on the plains of Imzi. When you complete this endeavour you will be rewarded with superb views over the cliffs, the downs and the gorges

To get to Ajgal Imzi one should bike (!), car or bus from Agadir southwards to the town of Tiznit and turn eastwards to the small town of Anzi, there take the dirt road to Ait Widirn after which two more km of piste are left to get to Ajgal Imzi.
